Sunday, June 23, 2024

8:30 - 9 AM: Breakfast

9-9:45 AM: Networking + Getting LinkedIn

CAMP! Program Director Sonja Josephson will present on the importance of networking, fostering professional connections, and utilizing LinkedIn to cultivate a professional network online.

10 - 12 PM: Uncovering Resilience for Professional Excellence (Part 2)

Part 2 builds on the innate capacity for resilience explored in Part One to profoundly expand the understanding of what we can handle in life. Sharon will guide participants through an exploration of our capacity to listen deeply, seek feedback, even if – and especially if - it challenges us, and to realize the benefits of how that will elevate us on any professional trajectory. Participants will explore how when they show up with resilient presence, they stand out in the field, with an opportunity to witness the potential of that to ripple out into every relationship in their lives.

LUNCH

12:30 - 2 PM: Setting Yourself Up for Financial Wellness

Holistic Financial Coach Chris Edgerly will guide participants through an assessment of the current state of their finances and lifestyle, followed by determining if they are financially healthy based on a few standard guidelines. Next, participants will envision their dream lifestyle, which then will be reverse engineered to create a direct path from their current lifestyle to the lifestyle of their dreams!

2:15 - 3:15 PM: Public Speaking + Professional Presentation

Radio Host and Community Engagement Coordinator Laurel Redington will guide participants through a workshop on public speaking and professional presentation—exploring the power of good communication skills.

Life is all about communication. It is a skill that is used in every single interaction in life. We need to learn how to be comfortable with and believe in who we are. In this one hour Laurel will help participants touch upon their sense of self, learn to move past any fears they may have and find their unique voice. Participants will be brought through exercises that will help them improve their timing, build self-confidence by going to the edge of their comfort zones and let them feel the joy and value of speaking in front of people. Laurel will present tips for preparation, using one’s voice, how to move around, and how to keep the audience engaged.
