Matt Moore has a rich background in the field of hospitality, particularly in the management of hotels/lodging. With experience spanning three decades, Matt has held management positions for a variety of hotels both global and local, including Four Seasons Boston/Dublin/Atlanta, XV Beacon Hotel, Seaport Hotel Boston, Ocean Edge Resort and Golf Club on Cape Cod, Boston Marriott Long Wharf, and lastly Martha’s Vineyard’s local Winnetu Oceanside Resort. Throughout his career, Matt has played a pivotal role in helping multiple businesses win local and worldwide honors and awards, with the latest being the Winnetu receiving their first AAA 4 Diamond award in the resort’s 19-year history. Matt also serves on the board of directors for the MV Lodging Association, The Edgartown Board of Trade and NEIRA (New England Inns and Resorts).

Beyond his career in the world of hospitality, Matt is involved in civil service, serving as a 4-term elected official in Holbrook, MA – as a member of on the Select Board and was Chairman for 3 years. He also has been an active member on the Permanent School Building Committee for 10 years – where he has assisted in designing, building and completing a $103m school project on time and $8m under budget. The project was the 1st of its kind: pre-k to 12th grade concept. He was also the founder and executive director of Holbrook Bulldog Basketball and coached 5 boys youth basketball teams (4-8 grades).

Matt currently lives in Edgartown with his wife Jeanne and their 3 kids where he is an Edgartown Town Meeting Member.
