Sonja Josephson

Sonja Josephson has a rich background in educational program coordination and design. She is ACE MV’s CAMP! program director in charge of spearheading the new pilot program—from onboarding employer partners and interns to designing the website and marketing the program, she does it all. Having formerly worked at the Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School for several years both as the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme coordinator and educator, Sonja has experience working with youth and being the driving force behind new educational initiatives and programs. She successfully guided the Charter School through the rigorous IB application and authorization process, bringing the first IB Programme to the Island, as well as the first IB Career Programme to the state of Massachusetts. Sonja also coordinates ACE MV’s School for Off-Season Survival, focusing on small business support, personal development and wellness, creative entrepreneurship, language skills and more. She is a certified IB Personal and Professional Skills teacher, with experience leading workshops and providing students with one-on-one support.

Outside of her work in the realm of community education and marketing, Sonja is a certified Ayurvedic health counselor, guiding clients in the process of uncovering their innate capacity for vibrant health and longevity.
