Social Media Marketing Internship
Are you social media savvy? Passionate about making a meaningful impact in the arts community? Do you work well in a team?
Circuit Arts is looking for a social media marketing intern to join their team! As the Social Media Marketing intern at Circuit Arts, you will gain hands-on experience both in the office and at on-site events. You’ll be immersed in the arts industry, learning firsthand what it takes to effectively promote and showcase events to the community.
Circuit Arts is the umbrella nonprofit organization that produces The Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival, Cinema Circus, The Vineyard’s Drive-In at the YMCA, Martha’s Vineyard Children's Theater Camp, Circuit Films, and Circuit Stage. There's so much to learn at Circuit Arts through their various programs!

Start date: Early June | flexible
Hours: approximately 8-10 hours/week
Duration: June - August
Duties + Responsibilities
Help manage Circuit Arts social media account, including content creation, scheduling posts, and audience engagement
Attend on-site events to capture engaging content for social media
Learn to utilize social media marketing platform app Later
Participate in team meetings

Skills + Experience
Required skills:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram & Facebook
Bonus points for:
Experience with Adobe Express, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Later
Previous experience in social media management or content creation
Photography skills
The ideal candidate is passionate about making an impact in the arts community on the Island, eager to learn & creative.
Compensation + Perks
Compensation: $17/hour
Perks: The intern will have free access to all Circuit Arts’ events, including the Drive-In at the YMCA and film, theater, and music events at the Grange Hall.

CAMP! Internship Program
BootCAMP!
CAMP! interns are required to participate in BootCAMP–a weekend of in-person professional development workshops and an orientation. Topics include leadership development, basics of financial wellness, workplace etiquette, etc. Upon completion, interns will receive a certificate of completion and a stipend. Exemptions may be permitted under exceptional circumstances.
When: Saturday, June 22 + Sunday, June 23, 2024
Location: In-person at Slough Farm in Edgartown, MA.

Mandatory check-ins
CAMP! interns are required to participate in three check-ins with the CAMP! program coordinator throughout the duration of the internship. This includes an initial meeting at the beginning of the internship program, a mid-way check-in, and an exit interview. During check-ins, interns will reflect on their personal and professional goals and accomplishments relating to their internship experience.
